Did you know that according to Finnish law a posting company has several obligations that must be met? Such as to select a representative in Finland which is available during the whole period of posting, to notify the OSH authorities about the posting of workers before the work begins in Finland, and to ensure that all information needed is kept available in Finland as long as the posting lasts. In addition, the posting company must comply with the provisions on minimum wages, working hours, annual holidays, family leaves and occupational safety.
We at Rantalainen are acting as employer representative and take care of all legal requirements needed by the OSH authorities about posted workers. We also make sure that all the required information is gathered from the posting company. We are actively in contact with the posting company and check that residence permit and working rights are fulfilled as well as check that employment contracts, minimum wages, working times and occupational safety are in compliance with the Finnish Labour Law.
